Training is a shared responsibility, involving everyone from leadership to frontline staff, including Above Restaurant Leadership, Restaurant Managers, Assistant Managers, Shift Managers, Master Trainers, Station Trainers, and the T&D team. At Cheezious, our top leadership and Training & Development Team ensure programs remain effective and aligned with our brand values.
Just-in-Time Training enables individuals to gain knowledge and practice skills precisely when and where needed. Staff and managers learn operational skills on the floor, working shoulder-to-shoulder with experienced trainers. This hands-on approach builds competence, reinforces trainers' skills, and fosters continuous learning.
Training is a company-wide mission at Cheezious. From Head Office to our restaurants, every department contributes its expertise to empower staff and management through the Cheezious Training Center.
Our blended approach combines off-the-floor knowledge transfer with on-the-floor coaching through self-study materials, videos, demonstrations, and simulations. Verification checkpoints ensure readiness for greater responsibility. Trainees initially perform tasks under supervision during slow hours before progressing to independent performance during peak rush periods.
Linking Learning & Development to compensation makes professional growth a priority. By achieving specific training milestones, team members become eligible for salary increases, establishing transparent, merit-based criteria for promotions and pay raises within our restaurants.

The Cheezious Leadership Development Program (LDP) is a self-paced online course designed for ARLs, AOLs & OLs who guide and support Restaurant Managers across multiple Cheezious Restaurants. The program focuses on building leadership capabilities, strengthening people management skills, and driving consistent operational excellence across restaurants.
